How do families' coaching answers work?

How families' coaching answers work

Eight fixed questions, shown per program only after at least five families answer; no names, no comments, no score.

A parent told us coaching mattered as much as cost, so we ask families who were there. We never name a coach.

What you answer

Eight questions about your player's program this season, from playing time to next season's coach, answered by picking, never typing. We offer only programs the club fields at your player's age.

What we show, and when

No program's answers show until five families on it answer, from five networks and two ages. Each question names its most common answer and shows the others as ranges like “0–2”. If someone knowing how many families answered and one family's answer could tell exactly how many others, one or two, picked something, in one update or between two, the page keeps what it showed. It updates at most weekly.

What we keep

We never store your email; it sends one link. While the season is open, one-way codes of your email and network stop one address answering a program twice. Someone holding both our database and the season's key could use them to work out which answers an address gave; we don't, so we don't remove an answer on request. The key and codes are destroyed a week after the season closes on June 30, and from the end of August nothing in our records ties an answer to an email or a network, unless the law requires us to keep records.

What these rules cannot stop

Five people, or one person with five inboxes on five networks, could fake a program's answers. One family's answer can show one or two others picked something; comparing answers, or seeing an update held, can show exactly how many. Every rule raises the cost; none makes it impossible. If over 60% of a program's answers arrived within three days in a row, the club can ask, from its own domain, to hold them until half come from other days, or for good once the season closes. No person decides.

If something happened

A safety concern is not an answer. We show you who acts on it, and we receive nothing.

Quick answers

Does this site review or rate coaches?
No. It names no coach and gives no score, and it uses no team rankings or online reviews: rankings mostly measure which players a club recruits and where it enters its teams, and reviews can't be checked against who was on a team and name coaches. Families on a program answer eight fixed questions about what they saw, and no program's counts show until at least five families on it have answered.
Can a club remove families' answers?
No. A club cannot edit or remove answers, and it cannot pay. It can ask us to hold a program's answers only under the arrival rule on this page.
Where do the coaching facts beside the answers come from?
From the club's own pages, each linked: a director of coaching, a coaching-license standard, a playing-time policy, SafeSport training or background checks, a parent code of conduct. A club can confirm them, or point us to a page of its own, through a link sent to an address at its own domain. We read that page ourselves and show only what it states.
