What the badges and dates mean

Every fee on a club page carries a status and a date, so you can judge it before you rely on it. Nothing is hidden behind a “verified” word.

The badges

Club Confirmed

The club claimed its page and confirmed this row. The strongest word on the site.

Verified

A person checked the row against its source.

Community Reported

Two parents agree within 15%, or a parent and the club's site do. The row says how many parents agree.

Awaiting a second report

One parent's number. Shown, never counted in a total, until someone else agrees.

Unverified

Read from the club's site and not yet checked by a person. Counted, and linked to its source so you can check it yourself.

Under Review

The club's site was read again and now disagrees with the stored amount by a wide margin. The number stays until the site settles it; this is a flag, not a change.

The notices

Last season's prices appears when every priced programme is from an earlier season than the one we are in. Not on the price sheet counts the charges parents said they were not told about at signing, once two parents have answered. Unconfirmed beside a level means a directory said it and the club's own pages have not.

The dates

Each fee shows verified with the date the club's site last showed that amount or a person last confirmed it, or added with the date it first appeared. The page header shows “Prices confirmed” with the newest of those dates, or “Site read” when there are no prices yet. The data-health page reports, every hour, what share of live fees were confirmed within 90 days; the target is 70%.

How a wrong number gets fixed

• The club's site is read again. If it shows the same amount, the date moves. If it shows a different one, the row goes Under Review. If, on two separate days, it shows prices in that category but not that amount, the row is retired and kept in the page's history.
• Every change is logged with what changed, when, and on what evidence. A review is cleared only by the club's own site or the club itself; a market average never moves a fee.
• A parent reports a number through the form on every club page. It goes into review and is published as described above.
• A club claims its page and confirms or corrects every row, free.
• Anyone emails support@pitchdreams.com. A person reads it and corrects or removes the row within 48 hours.
