How we make money
Parents who chip in, a few affiliate links in guides, possibly ads later under a written policy. Never clubs.
A site that publishes numbers about named organisations has to say who pays for it. Here is every source, including the ones that do not exist yet, and the one that never will.
Clubs cannot pay us. Ever.
No club, league, or academy can buy a listing, a badge, a better position, or a softer number on this site. Not now, not later. The people who can support the site are the parents who use it.
That is not a policy we might revisit; it is the reason a parent can believe the number. Every fee on the site comes from a club's own published materials, a verified parent report, or the club confirming its own page, and none of those involve a payment to us.
Reader support
Parents who found the site useful can chip in a one-time amount of their choosing. The support page says what support does and what happens without it. Supporters see exactly the same data as everyone else. There is no premium tier and no list to join.
Affiliate links in a few guides
When a guide recommends gear or tournament travel, some of those links may pay us a small commission at no cost to you. Each such guide says so at the top. These links never appear on club pages or anywhere near fee data.
Advertising, possibly, later
If the site ever carries ads, they will appear only on guide and state pages, never on club pages; at most two a page; from a network that screens advertisers; labelled “Ads keep this free. Clubs cannot buy them.” Supporters will see none. The full rules were published in advance on the ad policy page.
Never: clubs, leagues or academies
No paid listings, no badges for sale, no sponsorships, no “featured” placement. A club can claim its page for free to correct facts, through the same review every correction gets.
No revenue source of any kind is an input to how fees are collected, verified or estimated. That rule is enforced in the code, not just in this paragraph.
